Social responsibility – certification in accordance with SRM 10000 – 04.01.2011

On December 2010, SIMTEX-OC completed the preparation of the certification standard for the social responsibility management system – SRM 10000:2010. The standard has been endorsed by ORDA and OSIM, being also protected in accordance with the applicable copyright law.

Unlike other similar (equivalent) standards, the certification in accordance with SRM 10000 brings a series of major advantages to the organisation:
1. much lower implementation and certification costs;
2. the audit is performed annually, not several times a year;
3. the requirements can be easily met by any organisation which observes the specific applicable law (e.g.: Labour Code on the Romanian territory);
4. the harmonisation and integration of SRMS (Social Responsibility Management System) to other existent management systems within the organisation: quality (ISO 9001), environment (ISO 14001) etc., with the possibility of preparing a unitary documentation for the integrated management system.

On the 08th of March 2010 SIMTEX-OC has become the first certification body in Romania authorised to certify information security management systems.
